| Who is Barbara
A. Tallberg?
Barbara Tallberg provides
coaching and facilitation to leadership teams utilizing her certification
and studies for Personality & Behavior training. She uses color to
identify core traits based on a scientific evolution of Carl Jung’s
work. Her past experience includes management, sales and training positions
for corporations, including 3M and computer software firms. She partners
with clients who go after change to bring about more balance, and productivity
in their lives!
During a period of accelerated growth and
change at 3M Corporation, Barbara was instrumental in creating a new division
within the company. She championed the Post-it® Note Advertising
on Newspapers Program through the establishment of partnerships with key
customers. She spearheaded this novel Post-it® Note idea by
redesigning customer support and management development programs; along
with providing consulting and training to key players. Concurrently, Barbara
was coaching the United States Post Office on the benefits of advertising
with Post-it® Notes on the front of first class mail. The USPS
rolled out a national program in the summer of 2001. These combined efforts
formed the foundation of this new 3M division.
Barbara is a skilled motivator
and author of win-win solutions in a variety of business challenges.
Together with marketing teams she has designed national training programs
for distribution that have dramatically increased sales for over 200
organizations. Like a maestro, she brings together diverse people from
a variety of backgrounds orchestrating solutions that provide growth
and rewards for all participants. Her background has included roles
as a promotional consultant; training guru and out-of-the-box “thinker”.
During the last three years, she has pursued
advanced education in Emotional Intelligence, and earned certification
for Personality and Behavior training. She also attended the University
of Denver for Computer Science, and Business Administration from the University
of Arizona.
Barbara has traveled extensively
both in the U.S. and abroad. She enjoys getting “dirt under her nails”
while pursuing her favorite outdoor activity – gardening, and can
also be found on rainy days curled up with a good book.
